RESOURCES FOR ALL

I’ve been developing the Octaikon graphic over 15 years,
& have experimented with many different ways of using it.

MINDMAPS
Mindmaps are useful for summarising and remembering ideas.
I designed the graphic to form a template on which to map
the concepts and theories that I’ve studied,
helping to contrast and compare them.

ANIMATIONS
Animated and interactive presentations
are often effective at getting an idea across.
You’ll find several diverse ways of doing this
using Flash, HTML 5, animated GIFS. and MP4 videos.

BOOKS
I have written several book-length resources
including an autobiographical book on the project
and  different explanations for younger people in mind,
Two of these are available in print.

PAPERS
Here you will find papers that I have written
in an effort to produce some promotional literature
and also to explore a wider understanding of the idea
as it relates to science, theology and philosophy.

BLOCKS
Such an idea can benefit from a physical, tactile approach
as well as pictures, diagrams, and the printed word.
This is particularly the case for very young learners.
I’ve therefore created a version using wooden blocks.

 TERRAIKON
Based on my professional training in forestry
I have developed a model that includes the Octaikon
and covers all the other world resources that we benefit from.

AL’s PAGE
Al is a cartoon character I have recently created to help me explain the Octaikon ideas. Let me introduce you to Al here!
