We interpret data using our brain to think and analyse

All that sensory data that we observe and monitor
is useless unless we can work out what it all means.
Are those yellow stripes grass or a tiger waiting to pounce?
We now have to use our brain to interpret this input
and turn it into useful information on which we can act.
In other words, we have to muse over the facts,
do some problem solving and come up with suitable answers.
Our brain works all the time, but here we consciously use it,
employing our skills of logic, reasoning and instinct.
